EASTON’S RIVERSIDE FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS OPENS CALL TO ARTISTS FOR 2017 FESTIVAL IN SEPTEMBER

The beloved Riverside Festival of the Arts is returning for its 21st year and is once again extending an invite to local, regional, national, and international artists to be a part of the September 16 – 17, 2017 event at Riverside and Scott parks in Easton, Pennsylvania.

The Riverside Festival of the Arts is presented by the Arts Community of Easton, and features more than 70 artisans running the gamut from plein air art to pastel drawings, ceramics, blown glass, woodworking, and more.

The free, ungated event also features food trucks, contests, kids events, and the backdrop of the iconic Easton waterfront.

Artists Opportunities include:

  • Exhibitor Booth: Exhibit and sell created art works in a 10’x10′ BYO tent with proper weights including a 50 lb. bag per tent leg with sides for overnight closure. See application page here!
  • Juried Arts Gallery: Enter a special art piece created to be judged in the Juried Arts Gallery Tent. There will be $2,000 in prizes for top three in Fine Art and Fine Craft, respectively. Three professional judges will judge the works at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 17. Non-exhibitors may apply for the Juried Awards Gallery. $37 fee.
  • Plein Air Art Contest: Open to all. $2000 in top prizes. $30 entrance fee, BYO canvas, supplies.  Art must stay on site for entire weekend to qualify. Three professional judges will judge your work 4:00 pm on Sunday the 17th and announce the winners.
