The Riverside Festival of the Arts is proud to announce and unveil its 2017 Official Poster designed by Kristina Angeloni.
Angeloni’s submission was one of many wonderful and beautiful works that would have all made beautiful posters in their own right.
“This design was inspired by color palettes of the sky and the water on a beautiful sunny day,” Angeloni said. “I wanted to incorporate the river and the bridge into the design by using perception of watercolor. The color palettes of blue, green, yellow and orange catch attention and the texture of paint adds just the right detail to catch the viewers interest.”
Angeloni was born and lived in Russia until the age of ten, where she was first exposed to art through cultural traditions. She was adopted by an American family, and came to the U.S. in 2001 where she was exposed me to new art mediums. Angeloni went on to earn a B.F.A. in Studio Art: Specialization in Graphic & Online Design degree from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Learn more about Angeloni on her website.
