April 22nd at Two Rivers Restaurant, Easton
What a great night of meeting artists, educators and committee members surrounding the event! Two Rivers brought a great food selection for all to enjoy and the bar was busy. James Gloria, a visionary muralist, spoke about his workshop for the event using floor brushes to paint the large preset canvas he will be teaching from and painting on with all those interested! Ian Summers, distinguished artist, will bring is board of face to our event. He outlines in dark an idea of your face which you can purchase and then he will take time to color in the massive board which will be available for view at next years event! Come and find your face in 2017. Finding a home for the ‘Faces of Riverside Arts Festival’ will be interesting over the next year. Cathy Stoop, director and artist of The Healing Arts Institute, showed us the workings of babies and young 4th grade students. We were all amazed. She will use paint and plants in her educational hands on workshop at the festival. “A terrific night” says Maryann Riker. “Very well done” says Ian Summers.
I thought, something that needs to happen is this Meet&Greet with the committee.
Communities are suppose to commune, right?
*Announcing! First Artists accepted list on the Artist Page!*
