Our Judges for 2017 ~ First up

Santa Bannon

Philadelphia native, Santa Bannon is an award winning gallerist, international art broker/dealer, curator, advisor, and collector. Her high profile, full service gallery, SBFA/Santa Bannon Fine Art, exclusively represents distinguished mid-career and veteran Pennsylvania artists, the estates of several accomplished artists, and on occasion exhibits stellar emerging artists.  Bannon is Vice President of The Photo Review Board of Trustees, a 40 year old critical journal of fine photography and has served on a variety of philanthropic boards and committees such as the Allentown Art Museum’s Cocktails and Collecting, Philadelphia Museum of Art Focus Group, Olympus InVision Photo Festival, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the League of Women Voters. To date she has mentored over 30 promising art students from universities and colleges throughout the tri-state in SBFA’s internship program, holds group and one-on-one workshops on the business of art, consults with artists and collectors on the art market, and advises corporate clients on best practices for accessioning and de-accessioning works of art. She regularly adjudicates fine art competitions, most recently for the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for Eastern Pennsylvania. Bannon holds degrees in Psychology from Rutgers University; Interior Design from Northampton Community College; and has studied art extensively throughout Europe and Africa.

She is married to noted artist, educator, historian, Thomas Shillea and for the last 18 years have resided in Bethlehem, PA

Artists’ options to participate:

Exhibit Space ~ CLOSED FOR 2017

  • 10’x10’ Booth space – BYO tent or arrange for one to be rented from us
  • Tents must be weighed down properly with 40- 50lbs per pole min please. No personal Banners outside of tents.
  • All crafts 80% handmade or risk removal of items or from the show completely.

ACE Members: $75.00 till 8/15 then $85.00

Non-Members: $135.00 till 8/15 then $145.00 till 9/1 with no name in program.

  • There is not a guarantee that your piece will be accepted (fee is not refunded). You must send your art in photo to eastonriverside@gmail.

If you wish to participate in the Juried Art Gallery your original art must be 36″ all around max, properly wired and ready to hang.  3D can be 3ft or more with stand appropriate for your work.

  • These art pieces are offered for sale – if you have an exhibit space(tent) your exhibit space is not judged. Only the art within the Awards Tent will be judged and available for top prizes of:

  • BYO art supplies/ we will supply draw off supplies. One topic will be painted/ drawn by all.
